Bill Ambrunn, Attorney at Law

Bill Ambrunn has more than 20 years experience in law, government and nonprofit management.  A graduate of UCLA and Santa Clara University School of Law, Bill has spent many years advising and representing private clients and government agencies in the Bay Area in such diverse areas as insurance and complex business litigation, liability defense, wills, trusts and estate planning, health care and mental health law, civil rights, appellate work, conservatorships, guardianships and juvenile law. Bill also served as chief of staff and legislative aide to a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.

In addition to practicing law, Bill has spent over a decade as a nonprofit director at some of the Bay Area's most successful and respected organizations including Project Open Hand, The Commonwealth Club, JobTrain formerly OICW, and Jewish Family and Children's Services (JFCS).  With significant expertise in all aspects of nonprofit development and marketing, Bill is also an experienced nonprofit manager and a graduate of the JFCS Executive Management Training Fellowship, an intensive, fifteen-month graduate level, interdisciplinary program focusing on best practices in the for profit and nonprofit sectors.

Bill was born in San Francisco and grew up on the Peninsula.  He can be seen most mornings walking his dog, Fanny, in one of San Francisco's many beautiful parks.
